What is a ZeeWoman?
A ZeeWoman is any Woman continually learning to trust God and not be distracted by any "evidence" to the contrary. As her life is filled, she pours hope into the lives of those around her.
A ZeeWoman trusts God through her fears & tears
Who are we?
We are a Canadian Christian Women's Ministry that connects women with resources to live an abundant life. We seek to facilitate ways that help women draw an accurate picture of God. A picture based on His own Word not a mosaic of tidbits picked up during our lifetime.
As we look at our lives evidence may show that success in our relationships, finances, and emotions are an impossibility, but like the Zarapath woman (the first ZeeWoman) we need to believe God has a complete plan, and then trust it.
For all women to know and trust that God has a purpose for their life. To live joyous lives so full of their value, worth & purpose in Jesus Christ that it overflows into the lives of those around them.
To connect women with resources to live a fulfilled life.
Christian ministry for all women.
In the Bible, the prophet Elijah was told he would be taken care of by a widow Zarephath during a time of famine and drought.
You would expect that he would roll up to a mansion and ride out the famine in style! But when he arrived he found a poor widow in dire straights, with only a handful of flour and a little bit of oil. (What kind of plan is that?)
Elijah asked her make him a meal first and then make a second for herself and son with whatever was left over. This woman, who was not from the part of town that believed in God, chose to believe despite all evidence that this was a bad plan. She stepped out in faith and was rewarded. Not only was there enough flour and oil for both meals but for every single meal until the drought was over.
She had no idea God had such a blessing for her and her son. She could only see her immediate situation but still she believed.

My father passed away before my first birthday. My stepfather left when I was in junior High School. We had a somewhat distant relationship but he was all I knew. While other children my age went through divorce too, their parents fought for their custody. The man I knew as Dad simply walked away.
Without knowing it, at the time, it left a huge void in my life. A mother can teach her daughter self-esteem but value & worth come from a father. Unknown to me I longed to be a woman loved - a woman worth fighting for. I wondered how different I would have been if I had been blessed with a father to teach me, love me and just let me be the apple of his eye.
As an adult, a woman showed me in Bible where God says, "I will be your Father. You will be my sons and daughters" (2 Corinthians 6:18). He also says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have drawn you with unfailing kindness" (Jeremiah 31:3). This was life changing news for me. My Dad was the biggest dad on the block! He is the Creator of the World and better yet He will never walk out. His love is everlasting. He desired to be with me so much, that He would not let death separate us or even sadness take over in this life. He decided I was so valuable that He chose to redeem my life though the life of His own Son. My desire is for all women to not only feel, but to know He is their Dad too.
You are a woman of value. You are loved. You are worth fighting for.
"For this is what the Lord Almighty says: "After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you - for whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye" .
